Managed Care Company Pays AK $15.2M for Prescription Drug Prices

Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced a $15.2 million settlement with one of the largest Medicaid managed care companies in the United States -- Centene Corp. -- after it overcharged the state for prescription drugs.

At a news conference Thursday in Little Rock, Rutledge said the settlement ends the state's review of Centene's business practices, saying "I have successfully fought predatory pharmacy benefit managers in the nation's highest court."
