Andrew Decker is a second-career attorney. His vast public speaking experience which gives him an edge in the courtroom. He regularly receives “Not Guilty” verdicts from the jury. Cases are dismissed or greatly reduced when Andrew finds issues in the evidence or the law.
Andrew’s approach to the law has garnered respect from colleagues, judges, and opposing counsel. Andrew appeared as lead counsel for the defense in fifteen (15) counties across Texas. Other attorneys regularly bring Andrew in as second chair specifically to handle jury selection or closing arguments. He speaks at continuing legal education conferences on gun laws, jury selection, and criminal defense.
Andrew believes a great defense begins in seeing each client as a person. A person is not a number or a case. A person has feelings, history, and goals. To see the person gives Andrew the ability to represent the client fully.
He has worked as a public address announcer for college baseball, semi-professional soccer, and high school football. Andrew holds degrees from Southwestern University, SMU, and his J.D. from the Texas A&M School of Law. His hobbies include co-hosting the podcast “Andrew and Andrew on Texas Criminal Defense,” singing, and running.
