Mr. Strong was born and raised a Texan. Before law school, Mr. Strong attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During his time at St. Edward’s University, Mr. Strong worked with nonprofit organizations to promote criminal justice reform, with an emphasis on preventing corporate ownership of jails, prisons, and immigrant detention facilities. Based on that experience, he decided to direct his future endeavors towards law school.
Mr. Strong earned his law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was a two-time recipient of the Kenneth H. Burns Distinguished Service Scholarship for his volunteer work in the local legal community. During law school, Mr. Strong served as the Director of Communications for the Texas Tech Board of Barristers, a student-led, invitation-only organization devoted to developing litigation and advocacy skills in law students. In his last year in law school, Mr. Strong was selected for the Board of Barristers Outstanding Member Award, a distinction awarded by a polling of his peers.
Having successfully resolved over 850 cases during his 7-year tenure at The Barber Law Firm in Dallas, Mr. Strong is dedicated to the practice of law in an ethical and zealous manner for all of his clients. Mr. Strong is licensed to practice law in all Texas state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
When Mr. Strong is not representing injured clients, he enjoys cycling, live music, art shows, and spending time with his wife, Maria, and son in Richardson. He is also an active member of the Guardian Angel Society for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to proving critical services to abused children across Collin County.
Mr. Strong was recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers organization in 2019, and he was selected to the 2020 and 2021 Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
