Anna C. Ceder is a proud University of Arizona alumna who brings 15 years of insurance litigation experience to Hollingsworth Kelly. While in law school, Anna received the Outstanding Senior Award and was recognized for Best Brief on the National Moot Court Team. After beginning her legal career as a judicial law clerk, Anna defended cases in-house for two major insurance carriers before expanding her practice to include general civil defense.
Anna has tried numerous jury trials and arbitrated countless personal injury cases. She is often hired as a mediator and binding arbitrator because of her experience and her understanding of the many issues at play in an injury claim. Anna’s knowledge of the insurance industry and defense practices, as well as her courtroom experience, equip her to anticipate and avoid common pitfalls that can undermine an injury claim. Her practice will be entirely devoted to plaintiffs’ personal injury, including medical malpractice and wrongful death, with an emphasis on litigation.
Anna is an active community member and serves on the boards of two local non-profits. She provides free civil legal services for low-income individuals in Pima County and has been recognized for her contributions with recognitions as the State Bar of Arizona Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys (twice), Southern Arizona Legal Aid Volunteer of the Month (twice), and Step Up to Justice Quarterly Volunteer.
Outside of legal practice and community service, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. They enjoy travelling and watching University of Arizona sports.
