A native of Augusta, Georgia Mr. Worthington began his legal practice in and around Atlanta, Georgia in 2008. Beau attended Augusta State University, now Augusta University, and graduated in 2005. He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to study law at John Marshall Law School. While in law school he worked as an investigator at the Rockdale County District Attorney's Office prior to graduating in 2008. After successful passage of the Georgia Bar exam, Mr. Worthington entered private practice until being admitted to Colorado in 2020.
Beau was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2008 and to Colorado in 2020. He worked in a law firm in Covington, Georgia prior to starting Coxen & Worthington, LLC with his law partner in August of 2010. In his capacity as managing partner, he has represented a wide array of clients in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Mr. Worthington is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and Colorado, the El Paso County Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. In his free time Beau enjoys time with his family, golf, hiking, fishing and a wide array of outdoor activities.
