Ben Schwartz brings a welcoming and positive attitude to the Collin County Law Group every day. Ben was raised in San Antonio and attended the University of Texas in Austin where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Mathematics. During his time in Austin, he hosted a weekly sports radio show where he discussed collegiate and professional sports. He also served as a sportswriter for The Horn in his final two years at UT.
Upon graduation from UT, Ben moved to Dallas where he received his law degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law in 2016. Ben’s passion for representing the citizens accused of crimes grew when he served as an attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic at SMU. This experience confirmed that protecting the rights and freedoms of the accused was the job for him. Since graduating, Ben has zealously defended his clients throughout the DFW area. His experience working with prosecutors and in the courtroom leaves him well-prepared to handle any and all criminal matters.Â
After joining the Collin County Law Group at the start of 2021, Ben expanded his practice to include criminal law and family law. No matter what type of case you are facing, you can rest assured that he will work vigorously to get the best outcome possible for your case.
