BIOGRAPHY
Senior Partner Brett Steger graduated from Mercer University’s School of Law in 2007 with an advanced certificate in legal research, writing, and drafting. Brett was born and raised in Fernandina Beach and has returned home after seven years of private law practice in Macon, Georgia, where he was selected by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite in the practice areas of personal injury and criminal defense. He brings with him his wife Amanda and his young daughter.
Brett represents clients from both Florida and Georgia in a wide variety of legal disputes. His clients include individuals and families injured by the negligence of others, including industrial accident injuries, car accident injuries, slip and fall injuries, and claims for the wrongful death of a loved one. He also represents people who receive traffic citations, boating tickets, driving under the influence charges, and all other misdemeanor or felony charges. He has extensive experience in trial litigation and appellate work, has represented hundreds of clients, and conducted more than a dozen jury trials. Brett has also served as an adjunct professor of law for trial advocacy at Mercer University School of Law.
