Meet Managing Partner, Brian S. Shallcross
Meet Brian S. Shallcross, a partner and DePaul University College of Law alum.

His focus is on Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation. Mr. Shallcross has achieved much success in obtaining the largest verdict in Illinois in the amount of $5,000,000 for a medical negligence case involving an unnecessary hysterectomy.

Mr. Shallcross spent several years with a well-known and prestigious personal injury firm in Chicago where he worked on many high-profile cases involving medical malpractice, aviation accidents, premises liability and commercial vehicle accidents. He opened his own firm in November 2014. Admitted to practice in Illinois, Mr. Shallcross is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Shallcross has a record of success garnered through his hard work, skill, and determination. In 2014, he was the recipient of a Trial Lawyer Excellence Award from Law Bulletin Publishing after winning a $5 million jury verdict for his client who received a hysterectomy that was not needed. Other representative matters include his work, together with his co-counsel, in obtaining a $5,950,000 verdict for a client whose iliac artery was torn by a doctor, causing him severe muscle and nerve damage in his leg.
