Caroline Owings graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 2003 and received her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2009.
Following law school, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Clayton County, Georgia. After 4 years of prosecuting, Caroline decided to join a reputable insurance defense firm in the metro Atlanta area. As an Insurance Defense Attorney, she worked with numerous insurance companies and learned how they approach claims and handle lawsuits.
Although Attorney Owings gained invaluable skills and trial experience while working as an insurance defense attorney, she missed working directly with individuals and helping them in a time of need. As an Attorney for Kalka and Baer, LLC, Attorney Owings is able to work directly with those who have been injured through no fault of their own and need guidance navigating the complexities of a personal injury claim. Currently in 2017, she has settled over 100 cases with many resulting in six-figure settlements.
While at Kalka and Baer, LLC, Caroline has settled hundreds of cases with many resulting in six-figure settlements.
She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where she serves as a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is a licensed General Civil Mediator in the state of Georgia. Working with Attorney Owings are Paralegals Alison Easterby and Christine Carroll.
