Chelsey B. Gandy, a distinguished litigator and counsel with a proven track record of success in representing individuals in complex litigation matters.
Born and raised along the Texas Gulf Coast, Ms. Gandy attained her Juris Doctor and a Mediation certificate from the South Texas College of Law Houston in 2020. During her law studies, she honed her legal skills through extensive hands-on experience in the Randall O’ Sorrels Legal Clinics, where she successfully mediated settlements in small claims and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) disputes as a certified mediator for the State of Texas. Shortly after earning her degree, she was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is authorized to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Ms. Gandy's global perspective on law was enriched by a study abroad stint in Prague, Czech Republic, which broadened her cultural horizons and deepened her understanding of international legal practices. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in public relations from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2013.
Embarking on her legal career at the age of 18, Ms. Gandy progressively ascended through various roles within the legal sector – from mail clerk to law clerk – before qualifying as an attorney. These experiences were instrumental in building a strong foundation for her deep understanding of the law.Â
