Education: Samford University Cumberland School of Law. Chris graduated cum laude, was an editor for the Cumberland Law Review, and was a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow. By special invitation from Governor Albert Brewer, Chris was an honorary member of the Birmingham Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He has published scholarly articles dealing with the taxation of punitive damage awards and the spoliation of evidence. While in law school, Chris was a member of both the ATLA National trial competition team and the ABA National trial competition team; he was the winner of the ABA Southeastern Regional Trial competition and was awarded Outstanding Advocate by the American College of Trial Lawyers. Since graduating, Chris was awarded Best Advocate at Travelers Indemnity Company’s North American trial school.

Chris Cochran is an experienced trial lawyer at Campbell Law P.C., with a thorough understanding of trial advocacy, consumer fraud, and termite protection services litigation. Chris has successfully argued and pled appeals before the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, the Alabama Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
In 1994, Chris obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in both psychology and sociology, with a certificate in Criminology and Corrections, from the University of Utah, and his Juris Doctor from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 1998.
