Cindy Nations received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with honors and with special honors in psychology.

Ms. Nations has fourteen years of experience in community mental health. She also worked in law firms for nine years before becoming an attorney. Having lived and worked abroad for many years, Ms. Nations mastered the Spanish language and gained an understanding of Latin American culture.

Cindy Nations received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas Law School and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. She is a member of the American Association for Justice (formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, The National Trial Lawyers, The Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (APITLA), Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association, the AAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus, and the Texas Women Rainmakers. Ms. Nations is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 and is listed in Who’s Who in America.

Ms. Nations has worked on catastrophic injury and death cases arising from many causes including defective products, medical malpractice, drunk or distracted driving, 18-wheeler accidents, poorly designed roller coasters, poorly supervised water parks, and elevator accidents. She also has experience in business litigation including breach of contract, qui tam, and securities fraud. Her current practice focuses primarily on mass tort pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, Hurricane Harvey cases, Iraq war veterans’ claims against Iran and international banks for injuries and deaths resulting from acts of terrorism, and lawsuits related to the BP Oil Spill. All of these cases have one thing in common: Standing up for the rights of individuals who have been physically and/or financially harmed by large corporations or governments.

Ms. Nations has also written numerous legal articles covering a wide range of topics for use in CLE programs across the country and for TRIAL Magazine. Her publications to date are listed below.
