Law Office of David J. Hoey, P.C.
North Reading,

David J. Hoey is the president of the Law Offices of David J. Hoey. For over 20 years, Attorney Hoey has handled matters involving complex civil litigation and catastrophic injuries across many jurisdictions. His practice has focused particularly on injury claims against nursing homes and assisted living facilities, encompassing: wrongful death, elder neglect and abuse, medical malpractice, and other corporate negligence.

Through litigation, the firm seeks to improve the quality of care and life for residents in New England nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Attorney Hoey passionately believes that our elderly deserve respect and dignity and he has dedicated his career to helping families get justice when corporations harm them.

He received his B.A. degree from Western New England College, where he was an Academic All-American in wrestling. He then received his J.D. degree from the Massachusetts School of Law. Attorney Hoey is the author of several articles, has presented at several American Association for Justice conventions, and is the co-author of Litigating Nursing Home Abuse Cases, a resource manual for other lawyers that provides a road map for successful litigation of nursing home abuse or neglect cases.

Since 2013, Attorney Hoey has been rated by his peers as a Super Lawyer in Massachusetts. He is also the Dean of the Keenan Ball Trial College whose mission is to give trial lawyers the system necessary to win and protect the community’s safety as well as deter wrongdoers by holding them accountable.
