Attorney Davis LaBarre is an associate in the Houston Office. He joined the Business Litigation Section of The Lanier Law Firm in 2022.
His practice areas include a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters including business torts, fiduciary litigation, contract disputes, class actions, antitrust, qui tam (under both state and federal False Claims Act), federal securities, and fraud disputes. He also practices environmental litigation including various state and federal cases representing both individuals as well as state governments seeking Natural Resources Damages.
While in law school Davis was a staff member for the Wake Forest Law Review and an active participant in the Wake Forest Pro Bono Project. Prior to Lanier, Davis was an extern for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. Prior to the legal field Davis utilized his accounting degree and interned with Ernst & Young and Chesapeake Energy.
Davis spends his free time with his family and friends. He enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma Sooners.
