Don’s practice is focused on complex commercial and civil litigation. Don prides himself on his preparation and communication skills, which he displays taking and defending depositions, mediating cases, and arguing motions in court.
Don is adept in local, national, and international dispute resolution. He has litigated at the state and federal level, prevailing in lawsuits against some of the nation’s largest corporations. Don is a hard-nosed litigator whose experience includes representing clients in cases involving general commercial, defamation, employment discrimination and products liability claims, among others.
Regardless of complexity, Don is dedicated to understanding the issues at hand and creating a litigation strategy tailored to the needs of each case. He fervently believes the best legal representation encompasses a client-first approach and that successful litigation begins with being the most prepared attorney in the room.
Don was elected Student Commencement Speaker by his graduating class at the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, he also served on the distinguished Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Executive Board where he won the Regional Championship in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition under the mentorship of Roy Black. Don later advanced to the semi-final rounds where he received individual national honors as a “Top 10 Best Overall Oral Advocate.”
