Drew Anderson is an experienced associate attorney whose practice focuses on defending individuals accused of crimes, including DUII, out of the firm’s Portland office. Prior to joining Gilroy Napoli Short, Drew was a Deputy District Attorney for Marion County, Oregon, where he prosecuted both felony and misdemeanor cases ranging from property and drug crimes to Measure 11 person crimes. He began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney for Coos County, one of Oregon’s more rural jurisdictions, where he handled a range of cases and received extensive trial experience. With his experience and insights, Drew strives to ensure his clients are well informed and passionately advocates for them at every stage of the process.
Background
Drew is a graduate of the University of Idaho where he majored in History and American Studies. Prior to receiving his law degree from Willamette University College of Law, Drew worked in the Alaskan fishing industry and went on to work for a non-profit in Southeast Asia helping with construction projects and teaching English.
When not at the office, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as skiing, hunting and fishing, and golf.
