Evan Naylor is a passionate defense attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Evan spent two years honing his defense skills representing multi-national corporations and insurance companies from mass tort and general liability claims. His passion for criminal defense began during an externship at a local Appeals firm where he represented clients appealing their criminal convictions in the 3rd and 4th Department Appellate Divisions. He wrote briefs for clients convicted of DWI, Arson, Drug Crimes, Violent Felonies, Parole Violations, and Sexually-Based Offenses. His briefs returned successful results for numerous clients.
Throughout law school Evan demonstrated an eagerness to assist the most vulnerable populations with legal representation, participating in both the Bankruptcy Clinic and the Elder and Health Law Clinic. As a student attorney, Evan successfully completed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy proceedings in Federal Court, and drafted and executed estate planning documents for those in need. During the summers he interned at a local Estate Planning firm where he continued to assist elderly persons draft wills, trusts, Power of Attorney documents, Health Care Proxy documents, and end of life instructions for countless clients. He was known for his calming demeanor and ability to put clients at ease while ensuring they were completely informed throughout the process.
A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Evan completed his Bachelors Degree in Political Science, with a Minor in Legal Studies at The University of Delaware in 2016 (Go Blue Hens!). He then attended Syracuse University College of Law where he received his J.D. in 2019 (Go Orange!). At Syracuse he was selected to serve as a Student Mentor to incoming students, assisting them throughout their orientation and guiding them during their first year of law school.
Outside the courtroom Evan enjoys cooking, working on his car, going to concerts and ‘Cuse games, and exploring all the fun that Central New York has to offer.
Evan is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
