As the son of Salvadoran immigrants, Herson Merino knows that speaking Spanish and conversing in their language is very important. Herson has spent most of his career in criminal defense and has defended hundreds of Latino clients in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Herson attended UDC David A. Clarke School of Law, graduating with high honors. It is here that he began to refine his litigation and trial advocacy skills. His passion for fighting for his clients and his excellent academic achievements qualified him for a special student law license. In his sophomore year of law school, he was already trying misdemeanor cases in DC courts.
After law school, Herson continued on the path of criminal defense and gained even more experience working as a public defender and at other private criminal defense law firms in the area. With over 7 years of experience, Herson knows how to fight all kinds of cases, from traffic violations to felonies that could land you in jail for life. Whether it is Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, Prince William, or Alexandria Court, Herson always strives to obtain the best possible results for his clients.
