Tanner was born and raised in Manatee County, Florida. He graduated from the Florida State University with a degree in Marketing and then attended and graduated from FSU Law School. Tanner knew he wanted to be an attorney from a very young age. By age 16, Tanner was already working at the Heintz Law Firm, scanning and organizing client files. This early immersion into the legal profession made Tanner aware of the unfair tactics used by insurance companies and sparked his dream to help clients obtain full justice.
During his time at Florida State University’s College of Law, Tanner worked and interned with some of the most experienced trial attorneys and judges in Florida. He served as a clerk for The Honorable Judge Robert Farrance in the 12th Judicial Circuit in Manatee County, as well as an intern at the prestigious law firm of Hinkle & Foran in Tallahassee.
Outside of his work, Tanner spends his time surfing, fishing, and being outdoors. Tanner is also a long-time practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has a purple belt under the Alliance Jiu Jitsu Academy. While Tanner is highly competitive and tenacious, he is also compassionate and enjoys philanthropy work. Tanner served as Philanthropy Chairman of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and has also spent months in Nicaragua working with the Waves of Love charity, building homes for impoverished families and computer rooms for the local schools.                           Â
