Jacob J. Salazar is a native New Mexican, raised in Las Vegas, N.M. Jacob enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school and was honorably discharged in 2001. After discharge from the Navy, Jacob earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico, and his Juris Doctorate from Valpo Law.
While an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico, Jacob made the Deans List in 2004 and 2005, and studied abroad in Mexico City, the Yucatan, and Peru. Jacob also worked full time in the Governor’s Office and managed several get out the vote campaigns. After undergrad, Jacob worked full time as an Admission Counselor for both New Mexico Tech and the University of New Mexico.
During law school, Jacob was a member of the International Moot Court Team that participated in Oxford, England, and the Negotiations Team that participated in Ottawa, Canada. Jacob also participated in an International Human Rights study abroad in Chile and Argentina.
Jacob is a proud member of the New Mexico Bar, and the American Bar Association. Jacob represents clients in Personal injury and Probate matters.
