Jim Naughton is from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He attended Loyola University Chicago where he received a bachelor’s degree in History, summa cum laude, and Loyola University Chicago, School of Law, where he received his J.D., magna cum laude.
After law school, Jim served as a federal law clerk in the Northern District of Illinois focusing on complex civil litigation and social security appeals. Following his clerkship, Jim became a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in the appeals division and later in the misdemeanor division handling DUI and traffic offenses. Jim has also served as a DuPage County Assistant State’s Attorney where he handled solely traffic offenses.
