Jeffrey W. Stowers, Jr., Esq., is a graduate of the Appalachian School of Law. He graduated with honors, Cum Laude, and Dean’s List. While attending ASL, he obtained over 100 hours of mediation training. He holds the “Lawyer as a Problem Solver” Mediation Certificate and is certified in Civil Litigation. Mr. Stowers obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from King University in Bristol, Tennessee. Additionally, Mr. Stowers has two published articles: One in the American Indian Law Review coming out fall, 2016 and the other in the New Criminal Law Review coming out in 2016. Mr. Stowers is admitted to the Virginia Bar and practices regularly in all Southwest Virginia Courts, focusing primarily on Family Law issues, including but not limited to, divorce, child custody, and more, and criminal law.
