Jennifer Burkes is a senior attorney at AlderLaw with over twenty years of trial attorney experience. Ms. Burkes has tried numerous cases resulting in substantial jury verdicts of over $20 million. Licensed to practice in both California and Mississippi, she has extensive appellate court experience and has been lead trial counsel in both federal and state court.
After her Mississippi law office was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, Ms. Burkes moved to California, where she was admitted to practice in the state in 2011. Since then, she has argued before the California Court of Appeal as well as the En Banc United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Burkes and her husband are the proud parents of a teenage daughter.
