Attorney Jonah Dickstein practices criminal defense, personal civil law, and appellate litigation. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and Boston College Law School. Prior to law school, Jonah served as a legislative aide and legislative analyst in the highly selective California Senate Fellows program. While in law school, Jonah clerked at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. He later clerked over two years for the Honorable Matthew C. Lucas of Florida's Second District Court of Appeal in Tampa and Lakeland, Florida. Jonah has had the honor of receiving Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent rating, the highest possible rating. This reflects the confidential views of judges and lawyers familiar with his legal ability and ethics. The prestigious First Amendment Lawyers Association, which protects individual's constitutional rights, counts Jonah as a member.
Mr. Dickstein is a member of the Florida Bar and the California Bar, and is licensed to practice in federal court in the Middle District of Florida. He began his courtroom legal practice as a Miami-Dade County Assistant State Attorney, reaching the level of prosecuting major felony crimes. From there, he proceeded to practice felony criminal defense, successfully defending hundreds of DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug Offenses, Fraud, Sex Crimes and Homicide cases. Mr. Dickstein is a unique asset for Musca Law. He particularly enjoys defending Californians, and others from out of state, charged with crimes in Florida.
Mr. Dickstein prides himself on "taking clients under his wing" and providing reassuring and comforting, yet aggressive and proactive representation.
