Mr. Lopez is a partner at Palmer | Lopez, which is the firm where he has spent his entire professional career. His practice consists, as it always has, of representing those individuals and families who have been victims of medical malpractice, automobile and premises related injuries, wrongful death and insurance bad faith. Mr. Lopez has represented hundreds of individuals and families in cases of this nature and has prevailed at trial as both first and second chair in this capacity. He is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida and also the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Lopez was recently selected for the third straight year by Super Lawyers to the prestigious “Florida Rising Star” list. This distinction is reserved for only 2.5% of Florida attorneys and is based largely on review and recommendation by other area attorneys. His practice is geared towards a low volume, high quality approach on cases that involve catastrophic loss, injury or death and that otherwise require an aggressive and individualized approach. While many personal injury attorneys obtain the bulk of their cases via billboard or television advertisements, the majority of Mr. Lopez’s cases are referred to him on recommendation from other Florida lawyers who recognize a case that warrants an attorney and approach of this nature. Mr. Lopez regularly takes on the largest hospital corporations in the country, healthcare providers of all type and specialty ranging from neurosurgeon to nurse, multi-billion dollar insurance companies and others. On a personal level, he is 4th generation Tampa native who spends his spare time on the water and with family and friends.
