Katherine Cornell serves as an associate attorney at Blizzard & Nabers, where she spends the majority of her time focusing on litigation involving defective and dangerous products, while also pursuing wrongful death and personal injury claims on behalf of victims across the country.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Grand Valley State University in 2009, and earned her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law in 2012, where she received Dean's List recognition. While in her home state of Michigan, she worked as a probation officer in the 59th District Court, served as a Law Clerk to Judge F. Kay Behm for The Probate Court For The County of Genesee, and as a Law Clerk for Judge Joseph J. Farah of the 7th Circuit Court. She also worked as a Law Clerk for over two years with Ada Legal Group, primarily focusing on constitutional law. Ms. Cornell worked as an associate at Tracey Law Firm for two years before joining Blizzard & Nabers in 2014.
She is currently licensed to appear before all Texas state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She has appeared pro hac vice in New Jersey and other states.
Ms. Cornell serves as a volunteer for Toys for Tots, and she has previously helped organizations such as FEMA and Red Cross as well as working with the homeless veterans of Lansing, Michigan as part of Volunteers of America. She also helped to coach her younger sister's team for the Special Olympics.
Although originally from Michigan, Ms. Cornell has made Texas her home, where she lives with her dog, Harley.
