Mr. Hammond primarily practices in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, handling auto accident injury cases, dog bite cases. In recent years, Mr. Hammond has concentrated his practice on auto accident litigation. The Firm has been located at 223 N. Elden Street (at the base of Cherry Hill) at the east end of downtown Flagstaff since 2003. In January of 2018 Mr. Hammond formed a partnership with Stephen R. Glazer an Arizona State Bar Board Certified Criminal Defense Specialist. The new Firm is called Glazer Hammond, P.L.L.C. and shares the same location as Keith A. Hammond, P.C.
Keith A. Hammond was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He has two adult children. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in May of 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology. Mr. Hammond received his Juris Doctorate in Law from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in May of 1988. Mr. Hammond was admitted to the Arizona Bar in October of 1988 and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona in November of 1988. He was admitted to practice in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in June of 1998. He was also admitted to practice in the Hopi Tribal Court in 1996. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. Mr. Hammond's law practice has been exclusively in Flagstaff and Northern Arizona. Mr. Hammond enjoys spending time with his family, swimming in the Flagstaff Master's Program, running, skiing, watching baseball and football. He is also a certified Stroke and Turn Official for USA Swimming.
Mr. Hammond first began his legal career as a staff attorney for Coconino County Legal Aid (now DNA Legal Services) handling family law cases involving domestic violence victims under a grant from the Arizona State Bar. In June of 1990, Mr. Hammond formed the Firm, Keith A. Hammond, P.C. In October of 2018, Mr. Hammond will have been practicing law for 30 years and he is an experienced trial attorney having tried to date 41 jury trials and argued cases in front of both the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court. He has collected $8,506,394.00 for his personal injury clients from January of 2007 through May of 2018.
