Attorney Cusack began her career fighting for those who could not afford an attorney. As a public defender, Attorney Cusack began her career in Barnstable County, then continued in Middlesex County and Suffolk County. In her tenure as a public defender, Attorney Cusack represented indigent clients charged with life felonies in all phases of the court process-arraignment, bail hearings, suppression and violation of probation hearings, pretrial conferences, trials, and sentencing.
