Laura J. Helderop previously served in the Ottawa County Office of the Public Defender, where she fought for the rights of her clients in criminal cases throughout Ottawa County, including cases involving DUI, assault and battery, and domestic violence. Before becoming a criminal defense attorney, she worked in private practice litigating for companies’ rights and interests as an insurance defense attorney. Ms. Helderop – a cum laude graduate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law – uses her expertise in Michigan state courts to provide exceptional and attentive criminal defense representation to her clients.
