Lilian focuses her practice on international and domestic business litigation involving commercial disputes and contractual issues. She has represented U.S., Russian and Ukrainian business interest in disputes in both the United States and aboard. Lilian has also practiced on regulatory matters in the medical device industry.
Fluent in Russian, Lilian is active in the Philadelphia regions Russian immigrants' community, representing both individuals and businesses in variety of business and litigation matters. Lilian previously worked at a firm with offices in Kyiv, Moscow and Philadelphia that services clients in Russia and Ukraine as well as in the West. While there, Lilian practiced international law and handled litigation for foreign companies with operations in the United States.
In a much-publicized case, Lilian worked with Fox Rothschild partners Ely Goldin and David Gardwohl on a team that filed a sexual trafficking lawsuit on behalf of five Russian women against a millionaire Russian businessman living in the United States. The women claim the man recruited them from a St. Petersburg orphanage into a Moscow based international prostitution ring. Fox partnered with a Russian law firm in representing the women.
Prior to law school, Lilian worked as an international patent specialist for Woodcock Washburn LLP, an intellectual property law firm located in Philadelphia PA. She earned her bachelor's degree in international affairs with a concentration in Eastern Europe and Russia also majored in Russian literature and language. While in college, she studied at Moscow Institute of Advanced Studies (Moscow, Russia).
