Malcam Godwin graduated from one of the top law schools in the nation, Wake Forest University School of law. While at Wake Forest he was a two-time semifinalist in their litigation tournament while also holding the title of Vice President of the school’s Trial Bar.
While living in North Carolina, Malcam was part of the Innocence and Justice project. He traveled all over North Carolina advocating for defendants serving life sentences or on death row.
Since 2014 Malcam has served the Fort Myers community as an Assistant State Attorney for 6 years. He has tried over 45 jury trials, with the crimes ranging from DUI, theft, drug sales, Armed Robbery, burglary, kidnapping, aggravated battery, and arson.
