Margaret Teigen Steele is a Colorado native. She grew up in Aurora and graduated from Gateway High School. She was just four days old when she attended her father’s graduation from the University of Colorado at Boulder – School of Law. She went on to attend CU-Boulder herself where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She immediately attended Creighton University School of Law and received her Law Degree. Margaret returned to Colorado where she has practiced criminal defense law for more than 20 years. She is a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar as well as the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. She has been recognized as one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
