Matthew Van Fleet joins MLG with over 15 years of litigation and transactional experience. In that time, he ran a successful solo practice, has worked for large national law firms and served as General Counsel for a mid-sized Orange County mortgage bank. He has successfully first-chaired numerous trials and is versed in pre-trial, trial and post-trial procedures. He also has extensive experience creating and negotiating corporate transactions.
Matthew graduated from the University of Santa Barbara with a Business/ Economics degree and received his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law where he served as Development Editor for the Computer and High-Tech Law Journal. He is licensed to practice law in California, Texas and Montana and is admitted before the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern District Courts of California.
In his spare time Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in all things outdoors.
