Ms. Montenegro is an Associate in the Firm’s litigation department. She has a broad litigation practice and has represented clients at nearly all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts. Her pro bono matters have included defending municipal ordinances from First and Second Amendment challenges.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Montenegro litigated complex civil cases at a plaintiff-focused boutique firm. She also formerly worked as an attorney representing public sector clients. Ms. Montenegro began her legal career as the inaugural Christopher M. Patti Fellow for UC Legal – Office of the General Counsel.
