Meritxell Ros is a Partner Attorney at the Rossen Law Firm. She was born in Spain and raised in South Florida, where she has been practicing Criminal Defense for more than 13 years. As a former Assistant Public Defender, Meri handled thousands of cases ranging from Death Penalty cases to misdemeanor DUIs and drug offenses. She has tried more than 50 jury trials, including Murder and Capital Sexual Battery trials.
As an immigrant in this country, Meri has always had a passion for helping those who could not help themselves and has devoted her entire career to the zealous advocacy of those accused of crimes, firmly believing one bad decision does not define a person. She graduated summa cum laude from Florida International University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy with a Certificate in Law, Ethics, and Society. Meri received her juris doctorate degree from St. Thomas University, where she was also the recipient of the ABOTA Trial Scholarship.
Meri joined the Rossen Law Firm because she firmly believes in their core values. She, and her colleagues at the firm, treat every client with attention and respect. They treat every case as if it were their own child or parent accused of a crime. They are a rare breed of criminal defense attorneys and Meri is grateful to join them.
