Mike Damaso is recognized as one of Central Florida’s leading civil trial lawyers concentrating on cases involving personal injuries and wrongful deaths. As a lawyer dedicated to serving clients and their families, he has proven strength of conviction, legal skill and knowledge, and persistence by winning significant jury verdicts and favorable settlements for clients. Mike is among the less than 1% of Florida Bar members that are board-certified in civil trial.
With a genuine concern for clients and a responsibility to improve lives for the better, Mike gets to know clients well as that is critical to prepare for each stage of a case. Mike believes people are truly important and develops strong relationships with clients he represents to effectively tell their story. He takes his clients’ cases personally and is committed to ensuring clients are fully advised on every issue and get the best possible result.
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005, Mike has only represented the injured and victims of wrongful death. Having never represented insurance companies or corporations, all who Mike fights for are individual victims and consumers. He is licensed to practice in every Florida Court and has handled cases throughout the state as well as outside of Florida.
Mike has a strong sense of community and desires to give back to those in need. He is involved with several charity organizations. While serving on boards of several professional associations, Mike always advocates for charity partners. Some of these charity partners include United Way, One Heart for Women and Children, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Boys and Girls Club. Mike also volunteers with trial advocacy education programs in local schools, programs in which he was involved in law school.
When not in court or seeking justice, Mike can be found with family and friends and enjoying outdoor activities such as biking, fishing, and spending time at the beach. He enjoys supporting local sports and live music. Mike lives in the Orlando area with his wife, Jamie, and their two boxer pups.
