I am dedicated to excellence in trial.
I handle numerous types of civil cases including: life-altering personal injuries, civil defense work, commercial trucking accidents, complex insurance litigation, medical malpractice and products liability. However, my passion is representing individuals who have received catastrophic traumatic brain injuries as a result of the negligence of others.
I began representing individuals with traumatic brain injuries when a close friend of mine was severely injured in a crash involving an 18-wheeler. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, among his many injuries. I quickly learned of the complexity of litigation involving clients with permanent brain damage. I began educating myself about brain injuries, the causes and effects, and the effective presentation of brain injury cases at trial. Through intense studying and training, I prepared myself to represent those who suffer brain damage. I have become a devoted advocate of those whose lives have been permanently changed because of brain injuries.
I was a founding member of the Western Area Council of the Brain Injury Association of Kentucky. I am active in educating the public about brain injuries, their devastating consequences, and brain injury prevention. I have been a featured speaker on television and in the school systems.
As a member of the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Brain Injury Association of Kentucky, I helped coordinate a program in McCracken County, Kentucky to give every 3rd grader in the McCracken County School System a free bike helmet in order to prevent brain injuries and raise awareness of the plight of those currently living with brain injuries. The program was a huge success. We expect to expand the program throughout Western Kentucky.
