Dee Dee McKee is a graduate of Harvard Law School, a former Big Law attorney, and a former in-house general counsel who has closed more than $5 billion in deals and has more than 10 years of experience helping clients with their contracts, corporate transactions, and other business law matters. She founded the Law Office of Dee Dee C. McKee, PLLC in 2019. Dee Dee spends most of her time helping clients with commercial contracts (including complex SaaS MSAs, sales and vendor agreements, and IP licensing arrangements) and business law matters (such as business formations, corporate transactions, and employee equity compensation).
She’s also the first legal point of contact for many of her small business clients and has a strong network of attorneys for larger or more complex projects. She’s been selected to Austin Monthly’s 2021 Top Attorneys list and the National Black Lawyers Top 100. Dee Dee is licensed to practice in Texas and New York, is a New York State licensed CPA, and is a member of the Austin Black Lawyers Association and the Austin Bar Association. She lives in southwest Austin with her husband and 5 year-old twins.
