Nick Wooten is the Head of Consumer Litigation at DC Law, PLLC in Austin, Texas. Nick is licensed in Texas, Colorado and his home state of Alabama. Nick was first licensed in Alabama in May of 1998. Nick's career has been dedicated to representing normal folks against Corporate America in all types of civil litigation including consumer law, personal injury, and wrongful death claims.

Under Nick's direction, DC Law is now handling litigation involving privacy in our digital world, mortgage servicing abuses, violations of various state and federal consumer statutes, mass torts, class actions, and impactful national litigation. In addition, Nick and his team are available to co-counsel on existing litigation and Nick is also accepting referrals from his national network of colleagues and friends.
Nick is recognized nationally as one of the top consumer attorneys in America and is the "go-to" attorney for major litigation against mortgage servicers. Nick has three of the largest verdicts in history against mortgage servicers. Nick was the lead trial counsel in the Hammer v. Residential Credit Solutions case which resulted in a $2,000,000 jury verdict against the mortgage servicer for loan modification fraud. The case was tried before Judge Thomas Durkin in the Northern District of Illinois in April of 2015. In April of 2018, Nick was trial counsel for the plaintiff in Saccameno v. Ocwen that resulted in a $3,582,000 verdict. Nick was also lead trial counsel for an arbitration against Ocwen that resulted in a nearly $2,000,000 verdict for his client in October of 2022.
In addition to his recent work against mortgage servicers, Nick's career includes litigating thousands of claims for personal injury and wrongful death. Nick has extensive experience in mass torts and insurance fraud and bad faith. Nick has been lead trial counsel in hundreds of civil, criminal and bankruptcy litigation matters all over America.
