Nolan R. Jones has been an attorney with Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP since 2016. He joined the firm in 2013 as a law clerk working for Roger Dreyer and Robert Bale on various complex cases while he attended law school during the evenings. Mr. Jones tirelessly represents the injured and their families to ensure they are made whole.
Prior to dipping his toes into legal waters, Mr. Jones worked primarily in the restaurant industry from the time he graduated high school in 2005 until he began law school in 2012. During that time he worked for both large corporations as well as small businesses, and worked in all areas of the restaurant from host to server to bartender to manager, as well as occasionally helping out with the kitchen. Working in various positions in restaurants has helped him to understand appropriate standards of care in premises liability cases.
While attending McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Jones took every specialty class available in Trial Advocacy, including a three week long summer seminar in Advanced Trial Advocacy. The balance of his education through law school with the simultaneous on-the-job training provided by Mr. Dreyer and Mr. Bale aided him in advancing his litigation skills rapidly before even passing the bar exam.
Ultimately, Mr. Jones graduated a semester early from law school and passed the bar exam on his first try. He was immediately thrown into the fire by taking dozens of depositions on highly publicized cases. Mr. Jones has tried multiple cases with Mr. Bale, and continues to work with Mr. Dreyer and Mr. Bale on numerous cases, while also handling his own share of cases throughout all stages of litigation.
As an attorney, Mr. Jones has resolved hundreds of cases for his clients whether that be through trial or negotiation. He has assisted in the continuing education of his peers with regards to California Lien Laws, ERISA liens, and Medicare/Medi-Cal lien statutes.
Mr. Jones is licensed to practice law in California in both state and federal court.
