Preston J. Douglas graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Biology and from Brooklyn Law School with a J.D. He is admitted to practice in both New York and Florida. Mr. Douglas' practice takes him to both state and federal courts across the country.
Mr. Douglas limits his practice to plaintiff's medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases. For over 27 years he has represented seriously injured adults and children with injuries from Cerebral Palsy and brain damage to Erb's Palsy and other devastating injuries. He has cross examined more than 2,000 physicians in the course of trials and depositions.
Mr. Douglas is a former partner at the New York law firm of Fuchsberg and Fuchsberg where he managed their medical malpractice department. He has served as contributing editor to the prestigious Trial Lawyers Quarterly and has written numerous articles and lectured at local and national Bar Association Seminars on subjects ranging from Erb's Palsy, Cerebral Palsy and Infant Brain Damage to suing municipalities, breast cancer and the preparation and trial of complex medical malpractice lawsuits.
Mr. Douglas has appeared on the Maury Povich show and Court TV. His experience in Obstetrical and Pediatric medico-legal cases has earned him recognition as an expert and provided the public with important information.
