Rico D. Lively is a personal injury attorney at Felice Trial Attorneys in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is dedicated to representing individuals who have been seriously hurt by the negligent acts of others, particularly those who have been injured in a motor vehicle crash, slip or trip and fall incident, or by the negligent acts of a medical provider.
After receiving his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2016, Rico moved to West Palm Beach and began his career as a workers’ compensation defense attorney. He later went to work at one of Florida’s largest insurance defense law firms. In 2020, he left the defense world and began fighting for everyday people as an attorney representing the injured. Today, he puts his experience to work on behalf of his clients and works tirelessly to make sure they are getting the best compensation possible in their time of need.
During law school, Rico competed on his law school’s mock trial team and with his team went on to win the National Trial Advocacy Tournament in 2015. Rico also interned for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2015 and for the Honorable Timothy J. Thomason at the Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix, Arizona in 2016. He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of Tampa in 2013. He is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association and the American Bar Association.
