Ryan graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2016. His primary practice areas include insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. Prior to joining Gunn, Ryan practiced with the law firms of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP and Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A., where he represented clients in complex commercial disputes and product liability litigation. He also served two years as a federal judicial law clerk to U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich.
