Samuel represents individuals charged with misdemeanors and felonies throughout the State of Michigan. He also represents individuals charged with federal crimes in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
In 2017, 2018 2019 2020, 2021 and 2022, he was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Stars attorney, which is only awarded the top 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Michigan. Samuel graduated from Oakland University in 2011, with a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. He earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014. During his time at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Samuel earned the Certificate of Merit in Trial Skills, which is awarded to the highest performing student. The following term Sam served as a teaching assistant, aiding students with trial preparation and strategy. He was also selected as a member of the National Mock Trial team for Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014.
Samuel’s approach to criminal defense differs from others. He spend a great deal of time with his clients to get to know them and their circumstances. He knows you can’t be effective in your representation without knowing the client’s personal circumstances.
