Shayne Heller LaChapelle has dedicated her entire career to protecting the rights of injured persons and those whose family member has been killed by the negligent or wrongful conduct of others. Shayne prides herself in representing her clients with confidence, commitment and compassion.
Born & raised in SoCal, Shayne was introduced to motorcycles while on the back of her dad’s ’92 Heritage Softail Classic cruising through the canyons of Malibu and later, became an avid racing fan at Laguna Seca, another family pastime. She left California to attend the University of Wisconsin’s Madison and DePaul University College of Law but returned after graduation.Â
Shayne began her career representing victims of police misconduct at a national law firm, first as a clerk in both its Los Angeles and Chicago offices, and later as an attorney upon passing the 2001 California Bar exam. Shayne honed her skills representing catastrophically injured individuals and families who have lost loved ones while working at a boutique firm handling all areas of personal injury. She is excited to be applying her 18+years wealth of experience to fight for injured motorcyclists.
Shayne was selected on seven occasions for inclusion in the Southern California Super Lawyers – Rising Star magazine, a distinction only reserved for only 2.5% of lawyers in the State. Shayne is a member of the State Bar of California and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
When not fiercely advocating for her clients, Shayne can be found cheering on her children on the soccer fields, volunteering in the classroom or cooking up a storm for her family.
