Steven Alexander attended Institut Montana, in Zug, Switzerland, where he completed high school. He then received his B.A. degree from California State University, Fullerton, in 1992, with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in English. He thereafter attended Western State University College of Law, Irvine, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1995. He was the two time recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in the areas of Evidence and Remedies.
Mr. Alexander speaks 4 languages fluently. He plays Chess at “master� level, having played the game since the age of 5. He is an avid soccer player, and played soccer in European minor leagues at age 14. He has lived in 3 different continents and visited over 50 countries. For the past 25 years, Mr. Alexander has successfully handled over 2,000 serious Felony, 2,000 Misdemeanor and 5,000 complex civil matters. He has successfully tried over 200 civil and criminal cases in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Fresno, Kern, Tulare, San Diego, and Ventura Counties.

Jerry Guzman was facing life, accused of 3 counts of Attempted Murder/Assault with a firearm, in a case where he had made a full confession to 3 separate police officers. Steven Alexander obtained a Not Guilty Verdict for Jerry, after a highly intense 14 day Jury Trial, described by the Trial DA as a "Blood Bath". (See "Successes"). DA offer before trial: 20 years plus 2 strikes. Since the Not Guilty Verdict in 2004, Jerry's mother has been delivering home-made cookies to the office every week. 04CF2248, People v. Another client was charged with 2 counts of attempted Rape and one count of Robbery (3 strikes) and had a prior robbery conviction and strike. The evidence consisted of the complaining witness, an independent witness, semen DNA left behind by the defendant, physical injuries on the victim, 139 gruesome photographs and numerous false statements made to the police by the defendant. Believing he had a slam dunk victory, DA offered 16 years State Prison and would not budge. After an intense 7 day trial, NOT GUILTY on all counts (convicted of misdemeanor petty theft).
