After six years of practice, Thomas W. Sporrer, Jr. joined SMT Legal in 2022, practicing family law and criminal defense. In addition to his work with SMT, he has also represented clients in cases involving landlord and tenant disputes. His clients say of working with him that he was “very clear with his strategy of my case from the consultation to the court date” and “[h]e helped me finalized my divorce with ease and performed efficiently.” Thomas graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science in 2010, cum laude. He was honored to be included on the Dean’s List and as a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) Honor Society, and National Scholastic Honor Society. Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Science in Forensic Science in 2012 from Boston University School of Medicine where he was a member of the Boston University Forensic Science Society. He published A Study of the Effect of Exsanguination on the Decomposition of Sus scrofa in the Northeastern United States as his Master’s Thesis in the Alumni Medical Library at Boston University School of Medicine.
