Tim Hewitt was recruited to the firm in the summer of 2019 because of his reputation and record as a leader in the criminal defense bar. His focus as an associate attorney of Logan-Thompson will be in State and Federal criminal defense. He will work with James F. (“Jimmy”) Logan and Ken Miller to expand the existing federal defense practice. Tim has successfully defended over one thousand criminal cases and has extensive trial experience serving the Knox County community over the past 6 years. He is dedicated to aggressively protecting the rights of his clients and to providing a superior level of service to citizens accused of a crime. Tim works hard to provide unparalleled personal attention to his clients and their needs. He is proud to offer each client zealous representation through research, investigation and litigation.
Tim was raised in SE Tennessee and is glad to be back home. He and his college sweetheart have 3 children and are members of a local Presbyterian church. He is the current Bradley County Bar Association President.
