Timothy Yazbeck joined Smith & Fawer, LLC in June of 2017, and since that time his practice has primarily focused on Criminal Defense and Civil Rights litigation. Prior to joining Smith & Fawer, Timothy has always defended the constitutional rights of Louisiana citizens. Timothy first made the decision to practice in the field of criminal defense at the age of thirteen at Saint Paul’s School in Covington, when he was asked to write a paper concerning his future goals. Always attracted to the courtroom and trial practice, Timothy sought every opportunity to train for his future.
In high school, besides playing football and basketball, Timothy took acting classes and even participated in Drama. While attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Timothy majored in Philosophy, while also taking acting and film classes. Timothy chose those areas of study in preparation for future trial practice.
