Trisha graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. Following undergrad, she volunteered with AmeriCorps for two years before enrolling at Marquette Law School. While in law school, Trisha focused on criminal law, interning at the Milwaukee County courthouse and with the State Public Defenders in Milwaukee County. While interning at the State Public Defender’s Office in Milwaukee, Trisha represented people in both adult and children’s court. Following her graduation from law school, Trisha accepted employment with the State Public Defender’s Office, working for two years in the Racine office and for four years in the Green Bay office. Trisha has represented people charged with crimes ranging from disorderly conduct to homicide, as well as those charged with drug offenses, domestic abuse, and more. She has also helped train other attorneys both at the local, state, and national level.

In addition to practicing law, Trisha enjoys backpacking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is dedicated to her community through volunteering and is a licensed foster parent. Trisha is a team member of the Opiate/Heroin Treatment Court in Brown County – one of a few treatment courts in the country dedicated to opiate/heroin use disorder.
